Asset Creation

Under every render I create, there's a solid backbone — clean topology, smart optimization, and workflows that respect both visuals and performance.
Here’s how I build assets that don’t just look good — they work better.

Texture Baking & Material Optimization
I bake high-poly details onto low-poly models using normal, curvature, and ambient occlusion maps. This gives my assets the illusion of high detail while keeping real-time performance smooth like butter.

Polygon Budgeting & Mesh Decimation
I plan a strict poly budget depending on asset usage (game, cinematic, VR). I decimate or retopologize dense models while preserving silhouette and crucial edge flows.

Compositing for Quick Changes Instead of Re-renders
Instead of wasting hours on re-rendering, I use AOVs (render passes) and composite tweaks to control lighting, colors, and small visual changes after the render, saving time and boosting flexibility.
